Volunteer

Please help support HACRO

There are many ways to support HACRO: volunteer, become a Member or support our work through a donation, leaving a legacy or signing up to the ‘Giving Machine’ to donate at no cost to you through your online shopping.

We are highly dependent on the generosity of our Funders, Members and supporters. If you would like to learn more about HACRO and how any donations might be used, please contact us on office@hacro.org.uk.

Thank you to all the organisations and individuals who have contributed to our success over the past 50 years. We are very grateful.

Become a member

We value the support of well-wishers and people who believe in our Vision and Mission, but who may not be able, or have the time, to volunteer. Subscribing members give HACRO vital support, which we greatly appreciate.

Give via Just Giving

Let’s make a difference together. Raise money or make a donation. 0% platform fees.

Donate through your will

A gift to a charity can make a lasting difference, not only for the next generation but for future generations.

Give while you shop

Now you can generate free donations for us every time you shop online via TheGivingMachine. Sign up and get started now or browse the huge range of shops that are participating.

Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to undertake a number of roles. Our volunteers fulfil critical roles and have enabled us to offer the broad-based services that we deliver to our Participants.

We are actively recruiting for volunteers in the following areas:

Drivers for our people carrier to enable Participants to get to activities and courses.

Assistants to the tutors in a range of different courses.

Literacy volunteers to work (once trained) 1:1 with participants who have poor literacy skills

Expertise and professional support – volunteers with expertise, skills and experience can work with staff to develop new courses or engagement activities

If none of these current opportunities are suitable, please do get in touch so that we can discuss potential ways of getting involved. We can be contacted at office@hacro.org.uk.
